I am a Personal Trainer based in Leeds with over 10 year experience in the fitness industry. 

I thrive on learning new skills and taking on a challenge. I make it a priority to educate and empower my clients through the most up to date strategies and research.

 

I love my job and I am passionate about helping people become stronger, leaner and more confident.

I started my journey with Jess around 7 months ago and I'm extremely happy with my results so far. I had been trying to lose weight for several years and was getting very frustrated with 'diet culture' and decided it was time for a change in lifestyle. Jess is way more than a coach; she went above and beyond with my programming and really took the time to understand me, my body, and my mental health. She's a little ray of sunshine with her positive energy and although the gym will never be my favourite place, it's been a pleasure training with her. During the pandemic, Jess worked extremely hard to ensure my training wasn't impacted and she was able to support me while at home. I never thought this kind of weight loss was achievable for me and Jess taught me it absolutely is. 

If you're ready to make that change in your life, you couldn't be in better hands, I can't recommend Jess enough! 

I have trained with Jess for over a year and could not be happier with her incredible service as a personal trainer. I had trained with several PTs before and had never had the same motivation with them as I did with Jess. Jess literally knows her stuff when it comes to the body and not just in terms of fitness. My fitness journey & starting line  to a more healthier lifestyle started almost 5 years ago with Jess as my coach when we first engaged in early 2015.

All through this journey Jess has been an outstanding coach, mentor & consistent arm of support, knowledge & absolute raw talent. My needs & goals have radically changed as I have developed both physically & mentally & Jess has always risen to the challenge of a very focussed, passionate & driven individual. This commitment as a coach has been absolutely invaluable & a large contributor to where I am today. To be a great coach you must truly engage with your client on many levels, understand their needs, goals & always consistently drive hand in hand with them to give them their best shot at becoming their own best version.

The support , knowledge & encouragement Jess has given have been again outstanding & the investment in Jess as my coach is is something I will never regret.I am so excited now to see how much more we can develop in 2020 which also could very well be the year my own career in the fitness industry finally becomes a reality!

I first met Jess when I started attending her Pump classes on a Monday and Wednesday evening around a year ago. I used to pencil the dates out in my diary just so I wouldn’t miss out on them as I knew I would always get a great workout done and feel like I had achieved something. 

It was then in January I decided I needed to get the motivation to make healthy changes to my lifestyle. I started working out more often and eating healthier. I started to see small changes however I wasn’t very confident in the gym and often stuck to cardio or smaller weights as they were what I felt comfortable with. Also nutrition wise I could eat to lose weight but it wasn’t weight I really needed to lose and it became clear I needed more direction. 

Therefore, in May I spoke to Jess regarding personal training sessions and instantly knew that was the route I wanted to take. 

Within the first month, down to the programme I followed whilst in the gym by myself, the session a week with Jess and making healthy food choices I achieved so much more than I ever thought. 

Firstly I could walk into the gym at any time and feel comfortable. I soon realised that no one cared what I was doing and there was no reason to feel scared to go into the ‘big boy’ weights area. 

I learnt how to eat in balance and didn’t restrict myself to having absolutely no treats. I still ate pizza and chocolate but as soon as I did I got back to eating well and training and absolutely did not feel guilty. You only live once ultimately!

I lost cm’s on my arms, legs, waist and chest and had so much more energy throughout the day.

And lastly, the support and motivation Jess gave was second to none. I absolutely gave my all, however I wouldn’t of achieved half as much if it hadn’t been down to Jess. 

 

Nearly 6 months on, starting to train with Jess was one of the best decisions I made this year. I now love working out, and I am so happy with what I have managed to achieve and the support from Jess continues. Let’s see what the next 6 months brings!

I came to Jess after dislocating my right knee, being stationary for six months and fed up being unhappy when I looked in the mirror. I had worked out at the gym on and off for many years but never had any method to the madness. I struggled with my anxiety and thought that I looked out of place in the gym, I thought it was obvious to everyone else that I didn’t know what I was doing. Jess is amazing, from the get go she provided the knowledge, experience and reassurance I needed to push myself to the limit. Going into lockdown, we decided to shift our focus to learning about food, calories, macro and micro nutrients and eating a healthy balanced diet. I now enjoy working out and I do not see it as a way to punish myself but instead to love myself and ensure that my body is as strong and healthy as it can be. I work out confidently in the gym, constantly learn new exercises and have the support of Jess and the team to keep me going through tough times.

I’ve been an online client for 10 months now, and I’ve found out that Jess will always go above and beyond to see that you’re hitting your goals. I feel like I can talk to her about any issues, regarding training and nutrition and she’ll get back to me ASAP. I am really happy with my progress and enjoying having structured nutrition and training programs.

Training with Jess really is something I look forward to each week. 
She has changed my mindset in the way I eat, taught me to love weight training and see incredible results in a very short space of time - this is something I have tried to do myself for years and cannot thank Jess enough.

Although her knowledge around the gym is totally supreme, she equips herself to go the extra mile for her clients gas to ensure she can help you reach whatever goals you want to accomplish. 

 

Jess has been brilliant at helping me shape a new lifestyle for myself through focussing not just on general training sessions, but teaching me about nutrition and helping me become mentally stronger too. Last year I could barely set foot in the gym on my own and lacked so much self-confidence, fast forward to now where I’m almost 19kg lighter and have the confidence to go and train on my own and actually enjoy myself when I’m in the zone with my headphones on! 

 

I couldn’t have done any of this without Jess’ knowledge, patience and encouragement! So thank you so much to THE best coach!

Jess is an unbelievable PT, she is educated and methodical and every session and program is tailored towards your goals and getting the results you’re aiming for. I’ve seen results quicker with Jess than I have ever seen before and it’s great to see progress as everything is recorded so you can see your journey and progress. That’s sounds trivial but I’ve had PTs in the past where I’ve just been a number and things are not recorded or have been forgotten, but Jess remembers what you’ve done and where you are at what point in your journey. More than that she’s human and realistic but so motivational and pushes you to your best!
